red lava rocks

Are red lava rocks good rocks to make caves out of for african cihlid tanks? I will ost a pic of my lava rock tank tell me what u think and if the rocks are safe.

Hey Matt , I use the lava rock in several of my tanks and it works great. Just make sure you set your bottom row right on the bottom of your tank or under gravel filter if you use one. I know my fish like to try to dig under them and this can cause a problem with falling rocks. Good luck !!!
