i feed mine peas but dont peel them after a while they will start to eat them shell and all.
i have peeled them in the past but its like cutting crust off bread. if you stsrt to do it they will have it no other way and you will be shelling peas like a texas nanny.
i have had my Champ spilorhynchus for about two months the dominent male is only 4 inch at most and has just started two go from blue on the nose to all over blue and bright fin patterns.
i was told on purchase that they would only culour up at around 10 to 12 inch?
is he big enough to breed and the female is about 3 1/2 inch and i also have another male the same size but he has the still only same hint of blue on nose and gill flanks.
