will it hurt to put the methylene blue in the tank with the parents still in there? or should i move the eggs out and put them in a tank alone before i use the methylene blue. willing for any help we can get really want to keep these eggs some of them already have fungus growing on them :(

k i know i just wrote but my husband brought up a good thing to ask, would it be ok to put the methylene blue in with the parent oscars?? dont want to lose them or hurt them they are to big to lose ( baout 14 inches in length) plz help if you can!!! :unsure: :( :blink:

can anyone help me out here? my oscars laid eggs now for the 3rd time the 1st time they ate them the 2nd time i took the eggs out and didnt put the eggs close enought to the air stone and this time i have left the eggs with the parents but they are still getting fungus on them. i have been secussful with my convicts i have about 100 baby convicts if any one is interested in some and i have about 50 to 100 dempsey babies if any one is interested in them just cant seem to get the oscar eggs to keep up for any suggestions thanz--email me at exmarine_wife@yahoo.com :( :unsure:

hi all im new to breeding cichlids and thought this would be a good way to learn how to do it i have 4 oscars 2 about 9 inches long 2 about 12-14 inches long (they have laid eggs) have a pair of jack dempseys(just had babies) pair of striped convicts( just had babies) and other cichlids dont really know what they are.

i have babies tons of them i have convicts and dempseys that have babies and oscrars that are ready to mate!!!!!!!!! do i leave them with the parents until the are bigger and how big do i let them get before i remove them or the parents :unsure: :unsure:
